What is EMDR?
And how can it help me?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. 

Repeated studies show that by using EMDR therapy people can experience the benefits of psychotherapy that once took years to make a difference. EMDR is a holistic form of psychotherapy, incorporating the emotions, the body, and one’s longstanding problematic core beliefs.  Through the use of bilateral stimulation in the form of eye movements or tapping, EMDR facilitates the brain’s natural capacity to create new adaptive insights and beliefs and promote healing.  I’ve witnessed the power of this therapy to change lives and it has infused my work with renewed energy and belief in the resilience of the human spirit.
