What to Expect
The first step to beginning our work together is having a 15-minute phone consultation. The goal of the phone consultation is to determine what you are looking for in a therapist and how I may be of help to you. The next step is to set up an initial evaluation, which will likely be longer than a typical psychotherapy session. This initial session is a time for us to get to know each other and get an idea of how we'll proceed. Prior to this evaluation, you will be asked to complete some paperwork.
Subsequent psychotherapy sessions are 45-50 minutes in length and will take place on a weekly basis. These sessions will provide you with support, insight, and practical skills to better understand yourself so you can begin to resolve your core issues and move towards a more satisfying life.
